A Note on White Sage

White sage is a sacred plant to many Indigenous peoples of California, and wild stands have been overharvested as it has grown popular. That's why we only carry sage the maker describes as farm-grown, and we ask that you use it with the same respect. How to Use It

Light the tip over a fireproof dish, let it flame for a few seconds, then gently blow it out so it smoulders. Let the smoke drift through the room, or wave it softly with your hand. Crack a window while you do. When you're finished, press the ember out in sand or in your dish. New to it? Our beginner's guide walks you through each step.

Burn With Care

Never leave a lit bundle unattended. Keep it away from curtains, smoke alarms, children and pets, and make sure the ember is fully out before you put it away. For smoke cleansing and home ritual use only. Not for eating.
